Expats will enjoy the fantastic tropical and maritime climate in the Philippines. The country boasts sunny yet humid and wet summers, while the winter months are mild and pleasant.

The weather in the Philippines is characterised by two distinct seasons; the rainy (June to November) and the dry seasons (December to May). Tropical storms and typhoons are unfortunately common during the wet season.

Temperatures in winter reach average highs of 78°F (26°C) and peak at around 99°F (37°C) in the hottest month of the year (May).  Expats moving to the Philippines should note that the climate in the country has become unpredictable, and they should be careful during inclement weather conditions and follow the instructions of the local authorities.
