What the school says

A member of the Nord Anglia Education family of 69 premium schools and located across 29 countries, the British International School (BIS) Hanoi, provides an outstanding British-style education to local and expatriate students in Hanoi aged 2 to 18. The school operates from a purpose-built modern campus staffed with dedicated, skilled and committed British trained teachers. Our Global Campus programme connects 64,000 students within the Nord Anglia family of schools and allows them to collaborate and learning together every day.

At BIS Hanoi, we think beyond traditional education to transform learning through collaborations with the world’s best schools – MIT and The Juilliard School. By linking with organisations such as UNICEF, we also challenge students to research and tackle global issues, thus ensuring the education on offer is amongst the very best available anywhere in the world.

The school is a registered centre for the UK examination board, Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), and is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS).

Whether you are reading this as a prospective parent, teacher or student, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our school and look forward to, hopefully, meeting you personally in the near future.”

Ms Sue Hill, Principal

From the parents

“The school has an appropriate curriculum and various extracurricular trips. Children dare to express and discover themselves, and shape their awareness and social abilities.”
